Delicious barbecue here! I generally don't like back ribs because the bad ones made you annoyed - too dry, too raw, can't get the meat off the bone etc. However, the back ribs here falls off the bone quite easily. The meat is still juicy but not too wet. The brisket is awesome too but I wish it could be hotter and less fat. The cornbread is a bit disappointing as it is a bit dry. However, the fried okra topped this experience. Crispy, unique and delicious. I got hooked by desserts here too but be warned: it is quite heavy so not good if you are watching for your diet 😛

These are old and dry and greasy! They look and taste like jerky! Not tender, not moist. Just dry and OLD.
I went to Chick FilA to get Mac and cheese. Thank goodness for that or I wouldn't have had any dinner! They need to learn to be CONSISTENTLY GOOD, instead of serving you something sitting under a heat lamp for two hours!

Customer service is outstanding, and the food and atmosphere could just as well be somewhere in Texas, rather than inside the Winter Park location. Though I've lived in Florida throughout the past 40 years, I felt transferred back home temporarily, because it's not easy finding good brisket in Florida. I preferred the sliced that my hubby ordered to the stringier version of chopped in my sandwich. Nevertheless, my barbecue sauced brisket, melted cheese, and fried onion ring inside the bun provided a welcome uniqueness. We both enjoyed the barbecue beans, and he added the cheesy grits to complete his meal of carefully trimmed, smokey sliced brisket. Since we favor fudgey dark chocolate, we were not enamored with the brownie bar dessert.

I actually did a work based learning experience here last summer. enjoyed all four days. the manager gave me and the other two students a free meal on the last day. I got the brisket sandwich (point) with green beans (which were amazing) and mac & cheese (perfect as usual) for my sides, and the quintessential cake. I somehow finished everything. the food is hearty, so come with an empty stomach.
