A Truly Exceptional Experience – My Favorite NYC Hotel

I’ve stayed at the Soho Grand Hotel multiple times, and every stay has been absolutely exceptional. The hotel is stunning, with a chic, sophisticated design and a cool, effortlessly stylish vibe. The location is ideal—quiet yet close to incredible restaurants, shops, and everything Soho has to offer.

From the moment you arrive, you’re warmly welcomed by the doormen and bellhops, who are beyond accommodating and genuinely go out of their way to ensure you feel seen and taken care of. They seem to anticipate what you need before you even ask. The front desk staff is equally amazing—friendly, professional, and efficient.

The concierge service ( namely Anthony), is phenomenal!! On our most recent visit, they managed to secure an extremely hard-to-get dinner reservation last minute. They never disappoint and consistently go above and beyond.

The rooms are spacious and thoughtfully designed. The beds are incredibly comfortable, the bathrooms are gorgeous with great lighting and water pressure, and I love the fun baskets in the room filled with anything you might need for convenience and comfort.

The lounge is such a fun spot at night—great atmosphere, great cocktails, and always a good time.

Whether it’s been a romantic anniversary weekend with my husband or a fun birthday getaway with my best friend, every stay has been perfect. The Soho Grand is my go-to in NYC—I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. We plan on returning in the spring for another fun filled weekend! I highly, highly recommend it for any occasion.

I came here for a weekend getaway with my partner. The location itself is central and the hotel is very nice, moody, adults-only vibe, which we love. The staff is friendly enough but don’t expect any special treatment for hotel guests in the lounge or club room, although the Club Room is worth the visit and very nice for jazz.
The room was clean and amenities are nice. We ordered room service and it came promptly and as expected. Food was great! I am giving them three stars because I literally could not sleep due to how noisy the street was all night. Horns were honking literally from 11pm-4am, at least. I know the hotel itself can’t really control this, but I would have expected some more insulation from the street noise or at least complimentary ear plugs. While I couldn’t hear any music or guests in other rooms (I was on the 10th floor) the street noise kept me awake basically all night. For how much this hotel is, I would expect them to have resolved this street notice issue for their guests. If you’re looking for a relaxing stay, this is not the place.

As usual, the SoHo Grand team exceeded expectations! Jose and the Bell/Door team greeted me every time I walked in, and ensured I had a cab or uber as needed when I went to work. They always remember me and my routine, even when I haven’t been there in a while. ||The front desk team is equally customer-focused, with exceptional service at check in (complete with Prosecco and water) and as I extended my stay. Guest Services Manager, Marcus, always welcomes me back. ||The rooms are clean, spacious, and quiet (doors don’t slam shut/you don’t hear your neighbors), and the bed was so comfortable that I want to ask them what mattress and pillows they use. ||I needed a quiet space to take a zoom call, and the captain went out of his way to make the club room available. ||One of the main draws for this hotel is the food and drink. Room service, SoHo Diner with the best cappuccino, and the more elegant restaurant and bar upstairs offer different options all in one place. The hotel is also walking distance to many restaurants in SoHo and Tribeca.||While not the cheapest option, the rooms are reasonably priced for the exceptional experience. Highly recommend!

I had a great stay in this lovely hotel. Friendly staff, good service and a very comfortable room - spacious, clean and a very good bed. It’s in an excellent location with lots of shops and restaurants and right near a subway so super easy to get everywhere. As a solo female traveller I also felt very safe. I will definitely stay again.

This hotel and staff are exceptional, and I have stayed at several comparable hotels in the city over the years.

The service exceeds expectations. The guest services and bell/door staff Staff offer amenities and remember you and your routine, even if you don’t travel frequently. There are multiple different restaurant and bar options within and just outside the hotel.

The room is spacious, clean and quiet, which while traveling on business is important to me. The bed is so comfortable! Room staff didn’t knock if the do not disturb sign is out. You’d be surprised how often that happens at other hotels.

Overall an exceptional experience that is highly recommended!

The beds were incredibly comfortable! I have to know what mattress, sheets, and pillows they use! I didn't want to get out of bed. The shower was wonderful and hot! I loved the waterfall shower head. I could stay in there forever. Great location, great service! They always have something going on here. It's where the fun happens! I felt safe at this hotel. The outside, surrounding area, is overall fairly safe. There are some weirdos in the area after 11 p.m., so stay alert. I did hear some car honks in my room, but that's normal for NYC. I would highly recommend this place for a future stay!

I've stayed at the Soho Grand Hotel in Manhattan many times, and it’s become my go-to spot whenever I’m in town. Every time I walk through the doors, I’m greeted warmly by Claudia, who always remembers me and makes sure everything is perfect for my stay. Honestly, she’s the reason I keep coming back so often. Her attention to detail and friendly demeanor make such a difference.||The rooms are always impeccably clean and incredibly comfortable, with an amazing minibar selection. The location is unbeatable - right in the heart of SoHo, surrounded by amazing shopping, great restaurants, and lively nightlife. Everything I need is just a short walk away.||The amenities are just as impressive. Whether I’m unwinding with a drink at the bar after a long day or enjoying a coffee in the lobby in the morning, it always feels like a little escape. And the complimentary champagne when I check in? Such a nice touch that makes me feel instantly at home.||I can’t recommend this place enough. Claudia and the team make it feel less like a hotel and more like a home away from home. Looking forward to my next stay already!

The Soho Grand combines old world charm with the finest modern amenities.
The staff at the Grand Bar and Salon, the housekeeping crew - everyone had a genuine smile and greeting.
