Delicious! We ordered the chicken samosas, peruvian chicken, and curry mussels. Servings were generous and diverse in flavor profiles. Very, very good meal. Service was thoughtful and fast. We ate lunch on a weekday outside and there were very few people so a quiet place to watch dtsp. Really enjoyed it here and would come back, next time we need to get two servings of the chicken samosas though, they were that good

Dinner with friends. Cole provided good service, was attentive, and suggested good food options. We all had the Peruvian Chicken based on pics and reviews.
It's a half‐chicken, tender, and well seasoned with rice & beans and plantains.
We also enjoyed a couple drinks. The tables are close, the restaurant has nice decor and interesting art.

Real definition of a scratch kitchen! Tons of options, from pasta to butter chicken to short ribs to African stew, the list goes on and on.

We got the whipped ricotta toast to start, which was creamy and the bread was toasted perfectly. For our entrees we got the steak tip special (soon to be on the menu full time) and the pernil, a Spanish pork which was delicious. This was also a special, just showcasing even stuff off the menu is unique and tons of different cultural flavors!

Lastly, tons of drinks options, we got four different ones and all were delicious. All in all, will definitely be back to try a new offering!

Nice decor and vibe at the restaurant. Wait staff was very helpful and friendly. I had the rigatoni bolognese. The presentation and plating were very good. The sauce tasted great. Unfortunately the rigatoni was a bit overcooked. The wine list was decent and our selection was good tasting. My wife had the shrimp and grits and loved it, nice touch that the tails were removed! Overall a nice experience and I think we’ll be back.

Had brunch, had reservations at 10, when they open. Took forever to get food, luckily the cocktails were fabulous. Food was great once we got it. Ambiance was nice.

Had a great dinner there while on vacation. The server was excellent and guided us through both the drink and food menu. Lots of craft cocktails and good bourbon to choose from. I also found one of my new favorite wines from their menu. Food and appetizers were excellent! We all ended up trying each other's entrees because they looked so good!
The restaurant's decor is a bit odd but don't let it deter you. This place is GREAT! Definitely looking forward to going back.

Social Roost, oh, you fancy huh?! Let me just say, I walked in expecting to leave full, but I left with a new lease on life. If you're in downtown St. Pete and you're not here, you're probably somewhere less delicious and definitely less fabulous.

First off, I ordered the Jerk Skewers because I wanted something with attitude, and let me tell you, those skewers have a spicy jerk BBQ sauce that slapped me across the face—in the best way possible. I didn’t know I signed up for culinary discipline, but here we are.

Now, the Southwest Chicken Cobb Salad. You’d think a salad is a light, breezy decision, but oh no! This thing is the size of a small SUV and has enough flavor to make you reconsider your life choices. If salads had a mafia, this one would be the godfather. The avocado was so fresh, I think it still had vacation days left.

But let’s talk about the real star of the show: the Bread Pudding. This dessert didn’t just end the meal—it dropped the mic, left the stage, and made me question whether I even need anything else in life. I mean, I’ve had bread pudding before, but this one deserves its own Netflix special. Creamy, chocolatey, and it even made my cold milk feel fancy.

In conclusion, Social Roost is a vibe. Come for the Jerk Skewers, stay for the Cobb Salad, and leave questioning how bread pudding could possibly be this good. 10/10, would let the Jerk Skewers slap me again.

Social Roost was okay. We went around bunch time. I got the chicken and waffle. It could have been better if the chicken didn't have any seasoning. The syrup wasn't flavourful at all. Basically, the overall meal was a 3. It was filling but not much flavor. The shrimp and grits taste good. I would suggest the shrimp and grits over the chicken and waffle if you are trying to decide.
