We recently used Ark Design Construction and Roofing, Inc., of Palo Cedro, to replace the roof on our main house, and guesthouse. We are very happy with the process, and outcome.
They are very busy so it took over three months to start the project after signing the contract. This was not a surprise. They told us up front they wouldn’t be able to do the job for three to four months.
The contractors that did the work showed up on time. It was the same crew each day so there was no question of what to do. They cleaned up at the end of each day, and communicated well during the entire process. They took time to explain anything we had questions on, and told us about anything that we needed to know.
There were no surprises on the invoice when the job was complete. They were very thorough during the bid process to include any additional repairs that needed to be done. They went on the roof and really inspected it.
Another company walked around the house and provided the lowest bid. They didn’t include any additional repairs in the quote. The quote included a statement they may find other items that need to be repaired at an additional cost. Knowing there were additional repairs and having no idea what they would charge doesn't work for us.

I live in an apartment complex and have been dealing with a failing roof for the past three years. The apartment complex has contracted with this company and unfortunately they have been out numerous times tarped a small patch on a slanted roof so the water still is coming through the roof and leaking and my ceiling is sagging and raining in my bedroom.

Ark Design Construction came out the same day I called. The Owner, Joe, listened and was so helpful. After our meeting I can honestly say I won't be calling anyone else for any projects.
