This Cinemark movie theatre in Yuba city doesn’t have recline luxury chairs. It’s been a long time since we watch a movie on a regular chair. The lobby is also pretty compact. If you plan on buying popcorn and snacks, don’t come last minute. Give yourself extra time. Parking is ample and overall cleanliness is well maintained.

Had a good experience here with my wife and I as it was the first time we came here. The staff was friendly, and the concession area was clean. They have big cups of safa so you don't have to worry about going back for refills, as well the popcorn was nice and fresh.
The seating area was clean, but the seat where not that comfortable, but we still enjoyed the movie,

It’s decent as well as not updated. But it’s the closest to my mom’s house, so we drive a few towns away to come here.

1) don’t wear red and walk near the roosters in the parking lot. (If you’re not local, you’ll get a kick out of seeing chickens roaming the parking lot)

2) they’re not recliner seats, but it feels comfortable and somewhat welcoming

3) very small concession stand. Depends who you get to help with popcorn. But a kid named a Hayden? (He hid his name tag) he’ll get you one popcorn and don’t ask if you need anything else and asks the person behind for next in line.

4) their little hot dog and pizza selections aren’t fancy Pizza Hut, but I like this pizza better than the fancy ones. Asked the same kid for hot dogs, he said they’re in the spot to the side. Ignores me again until he realizes I’m staring him down. There are no hot dogs. It’s what I’m trying to tell him. 🤨

5) if there is a movie about to show, you’re S.O.L. for the fountain drinks, because one fountain soda machine and a large crowd.

6) restrooms. There are 3-4 stalls. Good luck!

My experience isn’t always so bad, usually 3 stars for this location. But the Hayden kid dropped the ratings down.

The movie was great and the seats were comfortable. Customer service was terrible. Went to buy snacks and was completely ignored by all staff. Not even a "hello, I'll be with you in a moment". After standing around being completely ignored by all staff for about 5 minutes, I asked Martín how to order food, he simply turned around and said, "were busy, someone will take your order" and turned his back. Nothing else. Just very angry and unhelpful staff in the food area. Next time, I'll make the drive to Sacramento for another theater. Never again

Took the grandkids to a movie after school, and we had the whole theater to ourselves. Hotdogs, popcorn and candy. It was a great time. The theater was clean, the employees were helpful, and they made our experience wonderful. We're going to do it again sometime soon.

I think the owner needs to finally invest in updating the seats in our theater, they are not comfortable especially if you have gone to other theaters, even if it is started in sections. The employees are nice.

Our 1:00 show had 25 min +/- of advertising & previews, some of which were so disturbing that closing my eyes was not enough to block it. The room temperature was COLD. Kept my jacket on, put up the hood and sat on my hands. If it wasn't for the great movie and my companion, I would have chosen 1 star.
