Stayed a couple nights for a quick impromptu trip. Room was nice and clean, bed was comfortable, AC worked great. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We were placed in the wrong room at first but they were able to move us no problem and were sorry for the confusion. You can catch the 1 train right outside the hotel building which was a huge plus. You can also catch the R&W trains one block further, the 4&5 trains two blocks further and and the J&Z trains three blocks further. Overall, transportation options within proximity to the hotel are endless.
Our only problem with the hotel was that it would sometimes take a good bit of time to get an elevator. Understandable however being that there are 26 floors in the hotel but just don't be surprised if it takes a couple minutes to get a elevator to your floor. Also, there was no dresser/drawers to store clothes so we did live out of our suitcase a little. They did have a closet to store coats and pants but that was about it. Don't know if it's like that for every room but it was for the one we stayed in.
Other than that, great place to stay

I just had the most relaxing and wonderful time at this location ! A special shout out to Anthony at the front desk…he helped make my stay very special! A surprised was coordinated by my other half and he made it happen and I’m truly appreciative! This hotel is very clean, friendly staff and well stocked with anything you’d need. I had a two night stay and it made things very easy to get around and there is an AMAZING mall about 7 mins away and many other shops for anything you could think of within walking distance. I will absolutely keep this location in mind when coming to NYC in future!

We chose this hotel for our New York vacation based on its reviews, I am a member and convenient location. The room was small but perfect for our needs, as we only used it to sleep. Everything was clean, the room smelled fresh, and it was quiet, making for a comfortable stay.
The front desk staff was very friendly, always welcoming us with a smile. They kept a water jar with fruit available in the lobby, which was a nice touch. The hotel also has a mini Starbucks and a small convenience store, which came in handy.
One suggestion for improvement would be to upgrade the hairdryer; it felt quite basic and didn’t offer much protection for hair health.
Our room also had a coffee maker and supplies, which was a nice bonus. The location is great, although we noticed quite a few homeless people nearby. Despite this, we felt safe and enjoyed our stay. I’d definitely stay here again!

Love that all of the rooms are away from the squeaky elevator. There are 3 ice machine floors but not all work. Each time I’ve booked the front desk clerk Louis has made me feel very welcome with ease; I appreciated that the most.

Pros:
1. The staff was incredibly kind and good at their jobs!
2. The rooms were clean.
3. Close to the World Trade Center, shopping stores, parking garages and a grocery store.
4. No traffic so you could easily pull up outside to load your car up with luggage or be picked up from an Uber/taxi.
5. Convenient plugs next to each side of bed in the king room.
6. The bed was comfortable to sleep in.
7. The coffee was good. We did not try breakfast but it was offered. Small snack shop downstairs with different choices.
8. Cafes, deli shop and gift shop store directly next door.
Cons:
1. The elevators take a bit sometimes stopping on each floor to pick up others if your room is on the high floor but nothing major.
2. The bathroom door in our room was broken and wouldn’t close which can be awkward because the toilet directly faces the bed and the room is small.
3. ^Like mentioned, the room is small.
4. The hotel faced what we believed is a migrant shelter directly across and we could see many people closely through the windows .
5. Next door to the hotel was what looked like a smoke shop or some kind of mini convenience store with lots of people outside smoking weed who appeared to be unsafe but did not bother us. Just felt a bit unsafe walking by all of them to get back to the hotel.
6. Parking was close but $100 for two nights. Maybe something you should look up in advance to see if it’s cheaper else where.

My favorite place to stay in the city! Second trip here in the last year and this has been my go to spot. Fair deals, conveniently located next to subways in the financial district. Noise is never usually an issue here. The staff are always super friendly and I always feel safe staying here. It’s definitely cozy and small but for the prices of New York rooms these days this place is pretty good!

I requested a nice view and a high floor and the hotel gave me this horrible view and the fourth floor. There was too much noise at night that made me feel unsafe. I paid 730$ for this hotel and for this price I could’ve went to the cloud one hotel and had an amazing view of the 9/11 memorial. Instead I was given the view of another building. This is extremely disappointing because it is my first time flying and experiencing a big city. However, the customer service was nice and the rooms did have a cozy feel. I think the price I paid for it is not worth it though.
