This place is listed in Peerspace. I reached out to the host, Amelia B. to request to view the space before possibly renting it out for an event. Amelia B. asked if I was available 2/14/2025 @ 12p. I said that I was and agreed to meet at the specified time. I was provided the address and unit number. At 12pm I was at the address and unit number. The door was locked (I tried to open it), and while there was a plastic bag covering the hole in the door, I could still see that it was dark inside the space. Multiple people walked past. There were 2 women selling items on the sidewalk near the unit. I remained outside the unit, waiting to be shown the space. At 12:05, I sent a message to let them know that I was outside waiting. I did not receive a response. By 12:11, I was no longer willing to stand outside in the cold waiting to simply see the space. I sent a message, informing them that I would be leaving. Only then, did I begin receiving messages telling me that their assistant had been waiting since 12 pm. Where? Because they were clearly not. There was a bench outside the unit. It was empty. Amelia B. kept insisting that her assistant was there the whole time. Amelia never told me that I would be meeting with an assistant, first of all. Second, she never gave me the name of whomever it was that never showed up. Lastly, no one showed up. I stood outside the unit from 12:00-12:11 and no one showed up. Amelia kept saying that her assistant was there and had been, yet I never saw him. He never walked by the unit. He never showed up to ask if i was interested in seeing the unit.

Amelia was amazing! One of the best experiences I’ve ever had. She really understands the importance of marketing and the strategies needed. She also took time to care for me and even brought me coffee and some beef patties!
