This is a wonderful little shop that serves freshly squeezed, healthy juices and delicious Jamaican fare. I tried the chicken patty--the wrapper was crispy and not too thick, and the filling was lightly spiced (just like it's made in the Caribbean). It went well with a fresh beetroot juice, which isn't too sweet, and is good for inflammation. I also tried the soursop and pineapple ginger juices, and if you ever need an energy boost, try the latter! Very zingy. Service is amazing and attentive (by the owner, on the day I was there), and he let me try different juices. I'll be back for the oxtail and the goat curry.

Food was really good. We ordered curry chicken, oxtail, and jerk chicken. The jerk chicken is VERY spicy so make sure to also get the fresh juice. The pine ginger is great, but sorrel is always my #1 choice. Customer service was phenomenal, and the environment is really chill. The gentleman who works there is very welcoming.

The food was absolutely delicious! Had the jerk chicken and it had plenty of flavor and tasted like a home cooked meal. The rice with beans, veggies, and plantains were also cooked nicely. Service was speedy on a weekday afternoon and Grace who helped us was so kind. Can’t wait to come back to try more on the menu. Highly recommend grabbing lunch or dinner here!

First of all, I am leaving the first part of this review before even trying the food and the reason is because when I placed the order over the phone and then went to pick it up the man in the front who I believe is the same person that took my order had a GREAT attitude. You can hear the friendliness in his voice. And then he offered me samples of two of their drinks (one was a ginger drink) but both were BOMB. 2. The Food: Damn where do I start? It doesn't matter which meat you get, it's gonna have flavor and fall off the bone. The Oxtail was big a juicy, the jerk chicken is PACKING flavor. The beans and rice was soft and flavorful. The chicken soup was nice and buttery. Even the veggies have flavor. And they have the best damn Mac and cheese I think I've ever had. This place feels like home and they treat you like family when you walk in the door. This is what putting LOVE in your food tastes like.

This was a Nice & Cozy spot, well worth the drive! I brought someone who is from Jamaica there and they 100% approved. I tried the goat curry and plantains and beef patty… all I can say is .. I’ve been dreaming about it ever since. Delicious! The chef & her daughter are absolute sweethearts.

Gold Spoon is an ABSOLUTE gem!! En route to a show at SoFi, we stopped here after googling “best vegan food in Inglewood”….and Gold Spoon popped up. While this is definitely a non-vegan paradise, the made-to-order fried cauliflower was so amazing that it could turn any meat eater. However, the jerk chicken might have actually changed my life. I’ve enjoyed jerk chicken most of my life, and this sauce is something that may have descended from above. Yes…it’s THAT good. The chicken was tender, the rice perfectly cooked and don’t get me started on the cabbage salad. My world shifted to a better place the other night. To a place of absolute joy. But it gets better!!

THE JUICES…..HOLY MOTHER OF ALL THAT’S RIGHT IN THIS WORLD!!!!! WOW!!!! WOW!!!! WOW!!!!!

The hospitality that Roberto and Grace showed was unlike anything I’ve experienced living in LA for 27 years. They greeted us when we came in, made us feel like we were sharing our meal at a family dinner table….and the best part….they love what they do and it absolutely shows. To meet two amazing people, who love what they do, are so talented in the kitchen, treat customers with so much love….it’s unheard of in this day and age.

Oh…and did I mention the food is amazing? We’ll be returning very soon, but with a truck load of family and friends!!!

Curry chicken was amazing.. oxtails yummy. Jerk chicken was too hot and drowned in jerk sauce to enjoy. 😔
Cabbage and rice wasn't bad .
Many items were not available on menu because they were out of stock which was disappointing.
I'd only return for the curry chicken

The food is delicious! I’m Jamaican and so can attest to this being authentic Jamaican food. My kids were raving about the perfect blend of flavors from their first bite. They wanted to buy the jerk sauce in bulk! Fresh made juices were an added plus. And the couple who run the restaurant are really wonderful people. Definitely recommend!! (Just fyi - it’s a tiny space with only 2 tables but we really enjoyed sitting and chatting with the owners).
