This is a nice southern style Burger Joint. Easy to see. Always a long line, but it moves quickly. You order at the counter, then find seating, and then they call your name to pick up the food. You stay on the line outside until there’s seating available. Or you can order to go. Good food. Nice staff. The owner walks around a greets the customers. Card payments are accepted. Give this place a try. We will definitely be going back.

This smash burger was DELICIOUS!!! 🤤❤️

It definitely helps that the vibe from the staff amazing and the decor is on point! Special shout out to Tanya, Mike, and Jose for making our visit awesomeeeee!! They’re all super personable and helpful! I would come back just to check in with them and grab food to go! There are a lot of people trying to sit and eat so it’s not a “sit down and kick it for three hours” kind of place.

Burgers reminded me of homestyle burgers from North Carolina. Great quality for sure. Onion rings,and fries were crispy hot and flavorful. Egg creme unfortunately was a big no for me and I was excited to try it. It taste like chocolate milk with seltzer in. If it was made a bit sweeter it might have made the difference for me. Overall a really great lunch I'd definitely eat here again.

PHENOMENAL smash burgers! Every time I go back home to visit family I make it a point to try a new burger joint to find the best burger in NYC. Ive got a new Number 1 because these burgers were juicy, flavorful, and fulfilling. From the special sauce to the great sides, this place did NOT disappoint. I had the pleasure of speaking with Mike, the owner, and we started talking about where I’m from. Lo and behold, he is having a pop-up here in Miami this month. Needless to say me and my entire table (plus more) will be stopping at the upcoming pip-up. Amazing burgers Mike! Better staff and service rounded out this experience.

Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great burger in the city.

We came in with big appetites and left with big smiles. We ordered the smashed burger “The Beastie Boy” and the “Chopped Cheese Taco,” along with fries and onion rings. And what can I say? The food was incredible. The burgers were juicy and packed with flavor — worth the visit for those alone. The taco was equally fresh and delicious. Paired with a freshly poured beer, we were in heaven.

Would we come back? Absolutely! Beyond the fantastic food, the cool ambiance and friendly, attentive staff made the experience even better. Highly recommended!

This place was overhyped. I was highly disappointed with the food. I got a single burger and it was the thinnest patty I’ve ever had. You have to get a double if you want any kind of protein. The fries came out cold (which they did replace) but they were nothing special. The fried pickles are all batter - you can’t barely taste the pickle. Just overall not great if you’re looking for a satisfying burger experience. I did however enjoy their homemade ranch. That was quite nice.

This was my third and final stop on my smash burger tour of the lower east side. I started at KO Burger, then Zaab, and finally here.

These guys put the smash in smash burger! Of the three, this was the most smashed, with delightful burnt edges. In terms of overall balance and deliciousness, I would rank KO Burger higher than Gotham but Gotham is certainly above Zaab.

The fries here are good, better than their onion rings. The service is great and the atmosphere is the best of these three options I tried. It's the only one that is a dedicated sit-down restaurant.

Our first time at Gotham burger social club, the service was amazing , easy order and take out. Staff is super-friendly and the new chicken tenders on their menu is absolutely my favorite. Delicious food for a nice quiet Sunday late lunch.
