Let me tell you that it is difficult to find a good breakfast/brunch restaurant in North Miami. Fortunately, I found one on Wednesday in the Belle Meade district! We have driven past it on busy Biscayne Blvd for years, but we didn't notice it. I searched Yelp and voila, found it! LA Social. It was everything that we were looking for and more.

La Social is a hidden gem sitting in the open. It sits back among beautiful trees and foliage and is pale pink. Their sign is on the building in white and is hard to see. But once you see it, then you are interested in what's behind it all. It's actually a very cool looking place with an outdoor area of greenery and a fantastic Banyan tree with an open old school carriage with hanging clematis and other flowers. An IG person's dream photo opportunity! We loved it!

Our server was Gigi, who was a delight and very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. I ordered the Alaskan omelet with smoked salmon, mushrooms, spinach, and cheese. It came with house potatoes, the sweetest watermelon slice, and salad. It was delicious! My daughter ordered the Breakfast Sandwich with scrambled eggs and bacon and cheese and gave it a 5/5. We both ordered lattes. We shouldn't have, but we also split the French Toast casserole, which I have never tasted before. It was like a juicy cake with all the goodies that go with French Toast. Also, yummy! During our breakfast, Gigi checked on us several times to make sure everything was to our liking. Excellent service here! Freshly made food here! They also have a bakery here!

Be sure to go outside to their backyard where there is lots of seating for large groups among the trees and foliage. For IG enthusiasts, you will get great shots under the Banyon tree and sitting or standing by the carriage.

Dog friendly. Parking on the street and a few spots in front of LA Social. Wheelchair accessible. We will definitely be back here.

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying a delightful brunch at La Social this past Sunday, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the tone for a perfect brunch outing.
I started with a strawberry banana smoothie, which was incredibly refreshing. The blend of strawberries and bananas was perfectly balanced, creating a creamy and delicious drink that was both satisfying and invigorating.
The tomato soup was another highlight of my meal. It was rich and flavorful, with a depth that suggested the use of fresh, high-quality ingredients. The seasoning was just right, making it a comforting and tasty choice.
For the toasts, I opted for the peach and goat cheese toast and the salmon avocado toast. Both were outstanding. The peach and goat cheese toast was a delightful combination of sweet and savory, with ripe, juicy peaches perfectly complementing the creamy goat cheese on a crunchy piece of toast. The salmon avocado toast was equally impressive, featuring fresh, silky salmon paired with creamy avocado on a well-toasted slice of bread. The flavors were harmonious, and the presentation was beautiful.

A special mention must go to Agustina, my server. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure my dining experience was top-notch. Her excellent service added to the overall enjoyment of the brunch.
Overall, my brunch at La Social was fantastic. The food quality, the freshness of the ingredients, and the thoughtful flavor combinations made for a memorable meal. I highly recommend La Social for anyone looking to enjoy a delicious and satisfying brunch.

Food was delicious, the atmosphere is cozy, and it is a good brunch place. It is pricey so please know it’s not most affordable restaurant.

We had a reservation for Sunday brunch here and upon arrival the waiters didn’t acknowledge the reservation then later they found it and said that the table was not ready. There were other female servers but the only male server there on that day was extremely rude! Absolutely no customer service whatsoever. I was told before that place was good to try but this was a big disappointment. I really hope he will improve otherwise I don’t think this will last with such unprofessional approach and the attitude especially when you are the one who made a mistake. Mistakes happen! Just relax and try a different approach instead of being so rude. Food was ok. They forgot about our bacon…

Chareece was our server and she was so lovely! She has an angelic voice paired with a smile so you’ll know if you see her. The food was really delicious and the service was top tier. The only thing was a few flies outside in the back patio but it wasn’t too bad. We ordered the cheese board, the watermelon lemonade and a red pepper panini. All super tasty! I highly recommend this spot and hopefully you get Chareece as your server!

I LOVE this cute little cafe! It’s not in commercial strip, but it’s like a little oasis here. All the plants and flowers just so welcoming when you are here. Fresh fruits as decoration always win my heart. Bakery and deserts are delicious. Space is cute! Lovely place. Jojo tea is the best thing they have. Best tea!

Just the iced coffee in a beer mug will make me come back. Service was perfect, my server was so kind. Atmosphere outside was nice with the flora and music. The berry waffle with the compote was delicious too. Would recommend for breakfast!

Loved everything about this place and want to come back to try more. I was a bit unsure because I read several reviews saying the service was not good, but our waitress was very attentive. She took our order quickly and the food came out pretty fast too! I was surprised with it being prime brunch time on a Sunday morning.

The atmosphere and decor were very cute and instagramable. I sat inside but saw they have additional outdoor seating in a back patio. Would love to check that out when the weather cools down.

My food was great, exactly what I wanted, the Alaskan omlette and they modified it for me to exclude the cheese. It came with a delicious side salad and whole grain bread with a guava sauce thay was amazing. The coffee was really good too. My boyfriend ordered an iced latte and it came in a huge beer stein glass.

Everything is well thought out and we'll coordinated (the food pairing, the color scheme, cutlery, glasses, decor etc.)

I did not try anything from their bakery, but saw they have some very yummy looking small cakes. These would be a good choice for a friend or family member's birthday.
