Really impressive, they have a stunning selection of boardgames, RPG books, minis, and cardboard. The decor is super elevated and the whole place just feels like being in one of those old timey upper class clubs.

The restaurant was great, we enjoyed some good drinks and delicious loaded steak fries. The tiramisu was kind of meh and we wish we'd gotten the brownie or something.

The bathrooms are super nice, very private and clean.

The clientele is pretty broad and it seems like this is a great place for tabletop gamers of all ages and backgrounds.

I wanted to give this place a higher rating, really, I did. As I sit here, objectively disappointed in my meal, I wonder what this place is trying to be. I'm an old gamer, Magic circa 1994, and I had heard good things.

The shock to my system, attempting to reconcile the pseudo-bougie menu, and knowing that this isn't my old school card shop... It brought a genuine tear to my eye and made my soul throw up a little.

This place isn't for me. I'll take playing games in a dimly lit room. Cheetos and Mt. Dew and pizza. D&D 2nd Edition and Original Everquest. Those are what I grew up on. It wasn't a Cesar Salad served on a head of Romaine with actual anchovy bits instead of a proper Cesar dressing. It wasn't whatever the hell a plantain was doing on a break burger.

This place wants to be something it isn't.

And the unisex bathroom area, while private, felt a little out of place given the number of children present in the retail area.

It's a paradise for board game enthusiasts. They sell games, have a library you can borrow from to play on-site, and offer dedicated gaming rooms. The staff are very knowledgeable and happy to offer advice. There's also a restaurant, but you're not required to make a purchase to play.

Lovely board game cafe! I’ve come here multiple times over the past week. I frequently suggest this place when my friends and I talk about meeting up. It’s a great way to enjoy trying out new games with friends over a meal.

Absolutely amazing service and staff. It was so good to feel both at home and accepted for being an absolute nerd. The food is somehow beyond exquisite, the kind of food you don't want to stop eating. In regards to the atmosphere and setting; the entire boarding house from the store to the game rooms, it's all cozy and comfy to eat, play, or drink. I would suggest eating here regularly to any nerd or someone that enjoys fantastic food.

This is an amazing board game shop/restaurant/bar. The interior design is so cool and atmospheric with the bathrooms feeling like they are straight out of Hogwarts. The staff is super nice and friendly, and the entire experience of shopping for games, playing games, and hanging/eating/drinking was just superb. Highly recommend if you ever find yourself in Portland and want to play some games!
