Moxy is one of the best value hotels in Portland in my view. Even though the rooms are small, they more than make up for this by their usefulness. For example my room had a smart TV with streaming capabilities, mini fridge and a shower that was easy to use. In addition there were three food options (I recommend Let's Roll) and a bar along with an excellent gym. However the thing that impressed me the most was the excellent service and how well I was treated. They really valued me as guest and made sure that I received all of the complimentary services that came with my room rate such as a free drink from the bar. When it comes to location, everything is within a block or two comes to public transportation. Overall a wonderful stay.

This hotel is amazing! The decor is cute! The people were so nice! The room was comfy and had so many great features. They offered ear plugs, white noise machine & I loved the mirror hanging areas that could be rearranged. They towels were long enough. The water was hot but the water pressure was lacking but with everything else we would definitely stay here again.

I had a great time staying here and I would definitely recommend! My flight landed earlier than expected so I called to ask if they could hold my bags till check in and they said yes. We headed over and after confirming my reservation, they began the check in process and I was able to get my room, which I am so grateful for! The style of the hotel is eccentric and there is definitely a minimalist atmosphere to it. We stayed in a King room which was big enough for just two people. They provided this awesome white noise machine and earplugs, not that we needed either since DT was usually quiet this time of year. I would not recommend going out late night since most places close around 10 and the homeless activity increases in the surrounding area but I felt very safe staying here. The hotel is surrounded by very tasteful food locations that are a must try and an easy walk to and from. I can’t wait to come back to Portland and stay here again!

The bartenders were all friendly and made great drinks. Conan was a wonderful bartender!!! Very friendly and in general a cool guy. Per my partner — “extra goat points for him for making the best drinks.” The view was incredible, and check in and check out were super easy. We would stay here again… as long as our neighbors aren’t the same.

As many other reviews stated, the walls are so thin. Our first night we overheard another couple and after an hour called the front desk (I’d already requested they stop or be quiet). Front desk said “god damn it” on the phone and hung up, did nothing about it as they continued then threw a loud party in their room until 6am. We stayed for four nights, but our first impression wasn’t the greatest, but the rest of our stay was lovely. The showers had warm water and the rooms were a good size for two people. We did get upgraded to a King as well.

Duncan and Chris were absolutely incredible! We called in a panic after having a bad experience at another hotel and they went above and beyond to take care of my partner and I for our anniversary. They got us an incredible room at a great price even with the last minute-ness of everything. Check in was so personable and accommodating, they took such great care of us and we are excited to stay here! The room is beautiful and well equipped, thank you so much for everything guys!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Moxy. We were welcomed by the incredible Duncan. He made us feel like family and answered all our questions. He’s very professional and accommodating. He also encouraged us to reach out to him for further assistance. We were also very impressed with our bartender Chris. He too was professional, friendly and helpful. Anthony was a delight too. All 3 went above and beyond to make sure we were welcomed and taken care of. Will definitely be back!

The room was so comfy and we had a great view. Duncan at the front desk was amazing, friendly, personable, and attentive. He really listened to our needs. We live in Portland and wanted a night to ourselves after the Christmas madness and all I wanted was an awesome bed- delivered! I'd come back just for the customer service- Duncan seriously was the best ever. |The rooms are small but so nice and cozy. |Chris at the bar was also pretty awesome!
