I didn’t eat in Nam Som Vietnamese Restaurant yet but I did do takeout a few times. It looks very festive and bright and is always busy. Staff are okay. They have a cash and credit price but it wasn’t much difference less than a dollar on $45 meal. Sorry I was too hungry and didn’t take pics of what I ordered but it was very good. Ordered a big noodle without tripe and they got that right. Also big was pretty big, I ate as much as I could and had to eat the rest a few hours later. Got spring rolls and they were delicious nice and crispy. Lettuce was looking very edible. Only problem I had was the sauce was on the bottom. So staffers make sure it is on top, it would have been a problem if I had no place to put the spring rolls trying to get the sauce out. Last thing I ordered was a pork chop on rice. That was also excellent for lunch the next day. Look forward to more take out or maybe I can stay one day. Thanks for having a great restaurant. 👍

Our group decided to stop here for our dinner and it was worth it. They offer a variety of traditional authentic Vietnamese dishes. We love the food and the cozy atmosphere. I personally enjoyed “Banh hoi bo la lot”. Taste really good !!!

They have big portion of everything and it’s affordable (you get disc when paid by cash). Overall, we love the experience here 🤗

i go here often with a large group of people. it is a big space so the wait time isnt as bad. The Pho soup, in my opinion, is really good and they givw big portions. I usually get phos with beef balls in it because i personally really like them. Overall, great food, spacious environment, and service is pretty quick!

Ordered a Bánh Mì from Nam Sơn and it was a huge disappointment! Missing key ingredients like pork, cilantro, cucumber, etc. Only got dry bread, and mostly mayo with 2 pieces of chicken and chopped carrots/radish. Definitely not worth $10. Chefs and owners of Nam Sơn are focused on profit rather than delivering quality food. If you're looking for an authentic Vietnamese food experience, I'd strongly advise against eating here!

Been going here 6 years and I'm not Vietnamese, I'm black and don't speak the language, BUT every time I go in, they are so kind. I always feel like I'm at a place respected by the community because there are elders at tables, leisurely enjoying coffee (DELICIOUS THERE) or a bun. This is a no frills, BUT all the flavor and authenticity needed. The ladies working towards the back, serving the food on a tray or in a bag to go, are sweet and always get my order correct. The man in the front making the drinks and serving baked goods is so cheery and kind. I ALWAYS get sticky rice in lotus leaf, beware... they run out!!! In a pinch, the pork, chicken, or rainbow buns are tender. If you're in the area, WORTHY OF A STOP!

I hate to coming here sometimes the female service bad , everytime speak with the male service they all good .i was called to request a table on the side for 3 , not the middle seat ,they said ok just walk in have a lot of table , so when i came , the lady very rude said no more table at all . And I want to leave when she saying that ,but my friends said “don’t leave because they know me ,I don’t want to be bad to leave “! I said if they know you ,they will give you the table you like . no body know you!!!! Who care who you are !!!! I like the Baxter st a lot , we going every week , people all nice there ! WTH worst my day !!!!!! Don’t say anything 3people can’t sweet on the big table, look at someone 2people sit on the big table already .

Food was good! Not the best pho but definitely far from the worst! I gave it 4 stars because it was pricey for the location. It definitely used to be way cheaper. The spring rolls were probably the best item we had!

We just stopped in for a Vietnamese coffee on a warm spring day, and absolutely loved it! It was the perfect mix of coffee and condensed milk.

Plus, it only took a matter of minutes to receive the coffee. You can order at the counter if you’re looking for a quick grab and go, or sit down inside. We’ll definitely be back to try their food!
