wow!!!! my partner and I came here for our four year anniversary and I’m so happy with the whole experience. they made us feel really special and celebrated. every single course that was given to us was so beautifully created and curated. our chefs attention to detail was unmatched, we were both mesmerized by his skills and flavor understanding. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough. if you’re thinking about it, just do it!! you won’t regret it.

From the moment you step inside, Omakase by Osen exudes a warm, minimalist ambiance with a modern twist. Soft lighting, wood accents, and clean lines create an inviting, intimate atmosphere that feels both high-end and welcoming. The staff are professional, attentive, and knowledgeable, with a deep understanding of the ingredients used. They are eager to explain each dish and offer pairing suggestions, which enhances the experience for diners unfamiliar with Japanese culinary traditions.
The food is, without a doubt, the star of the show. The menu reflect the freshest, in-season ingredients, and the chefs craft each dish with precision and care. The sushi is exceptional,each piece is an artful masterpiece. The fish is impeccably fresh, often sourced directly from top-tier fish markets, and the rice is perfectly seasoned. Highlights include buttery, melt-in-your-mouth toro, delicate sea bream, and rich uni. The accompanying garnishes and sauces are thoughtfully balanced, never overpowering the natural flavors of the seafood.
Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic Japanese cuisine.

Lovely experience, brilliantly catered and serviced. The appetizers on the larger omakase course were delectable, moreso than even the sushi, I'd say. They give you LOT of food on this course, so make sure to bring your appetite. (Don't make my mistake - I was so full I had to forgo dessert!) The service and timing were excellent. As an example, the few times I had to leave my table, they were careful not to serve anything until I had returned to my seat. Service was prompt and professional, never having to wait long on a dirty plate or the next dish. The atmosphere is simple but not too serious, choosing (rightly) to prioritize delivering high quality omakase without breaking the bank of their customers. Especially satisfied with the value of the meal, with only 140/pp without drinks. (The smaller quantity was barely over 100 - amazing for the quality.) Highlight of the meal was definitely the custard highlighted with truffle, which I'm still dreaming about now.

Omakase by Osen is an elegant restaurant perfect for an exceptional evening of inventive and top-quality sushi. We opted for the sushi bar-side Omakase dinner, although they also offer table-side Omakase. Despite booking last minute, the staff were remarkably professional yet friendly, displaying deep knowledge and attentiveness. From the moment we walked in, they made us feel incredibly important, promptly seating us even though we arrived 20 minutes early.

Our dinner included a delightful progression of 16 courses. While they do offer sake pairings, we chose to order our own sake and beer, creating our own sake bombs. The restaurant is not excessively large, but it strikes a comfortable balance in size. The ambiance is just right, facilitating engaging conversations during dinner. I don't recall any background music, as the overall atmosphere already exuded a fantastic vibe.

This was my first visit, and it certainly won't be my last. If you're a sushi enthusiast eager to experience Omakase, I wholeheartedly recommend Omakase by Osen. Booking was a breeze, and the pricing was reasonable, making it a memorable dining choice.

Great quality fish, and all very well plated. Some courses were not well balanced flavorwise. It was good but for the price point I expect better. My favorite was the Aonori Maki which isn't even fish. The butter fish was overpowered by a very strong Arugula flavor and the Ochazuke had no flavor at all which made the meal end on a boring note. We left hungry and would not go back.

My first time at this omakase place. A friend recommended it, so we decided to give it a try. They only operate in the evenings from 5 to 10 pm and require reservations. Booking through Yelp is convenient, and they offer valet parking. We chose the Hazuki omakase. According to our server, the menu updates every three months with three different options. Our server was excellent, explaining each dish in detail. The timing was good, taking about an hour to complete the meal, and the prices were reasonable. We'll definitely come back.
