This is a fun shop to go to. We pretty much go here to pick up some sweets every time we visit South Lake Tahoe. This time on Sunday (3/26) and it’s no different. The place is fun, inviting, warm, and filled from wall to wall with candy, sweets, treats, anything you can think of. I found stuff from my childhood days. Expect to pay a little more for the treats but it’s worth it. I highly recommend paying this place a visit if you’re in the area. You won’t regret it.

Little Joseph who works at this candy shop gave me a fantastic time when I arrived. I arrived and he greeted me and said "Welcome to the Beautiful Candyland Abode! Haha, just kidding, welcome to rocket fizz!" My 6 year old nephew found that quite humourous as he started laughing hysterically so much to the point little Joseph had to escort himself to the restroom as urine started leaking through his trousers. As I started browsing after his little accident, little Joseph assisted me greatly and helped me make a purchase. I will come back. Little Joseph, thank you.

This place will take you back to your childhood no matter how old ya are ! They have it all, trust me . That candy that your grandma had as a treat, the one you loved going to the store to get .. they have it! The drink selection is crazy cool. Prices not to bad. They have bins in the back you can fill bags for a couple different prices. They are a chain store so if ya ever see one stop in.

Every kind of soda you can imagine, and some you wouldn't want to imagine... "Bug Barf" flavor Lots of varieties of root beer, ginger beer, energy drinks, and tons of candy. It's not cheap. The best value is to buy 24 bottles of soda for approx $42. Fun store. Cool signs on the walls.

The store is awesome however customer service needs help. My 12 yr old daughter got on the rocking horse and the girl working the cash register ran up to her and yelled very loudly get off or I will escort you out. It was super aggressive and not needed. She claims she gave us a warning but that was false. It startled us all

This was a very interesting store that was fun to stop by with kids. Also, they had a great selection of sodas from various brands. I appreciated seeing more than 15 root beers. Some gimmicky candies but also some very old timey good ones. Definitely catering to various age groups.
