Gorgeous rooftop restaurant! We got there during happy hour and our server recommended our drinks, we were not disappointed! Between two people we ordered from the tasting menu and got to try the following:

First Course - Adobo Pork Ribs & Wagyu Dumplings
Main Course - Fried Chicken Karaage & Braised Short Rib
Dessert - Croissant Waffle & Banana Fritters

Fantastic service and incredible food! We had the opportunity to thank the chef in person for the amazing meal. Highly recommend and will have to make the drive out again 🙂

Stopped by to see how this new place was getting good reviews. They absolutely deserve the accolades. Amazing food, everyone in the party was more than pleased across the entirety of the menu, small plates, entrees and even drinks were enjoyed. Outside of the food the atmosphere and view were great and the staff was knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. Going to have to make another trip back soon.

Edit: Had to go back a second time, this time for brunch. Amazing menu offerings and everything came out perfect. Much more I need to try out on the menu, food and drinks.

This is what you get when you take a modern spin on Thai cuisine. Rosewood Social just opened in San Juan Capistrano and we were here to try all their popular dishes and they were SO GOOD.

First off, the restaurant itself is stunning. I’m such a big fan of the indoor-outdoor dining on the second floor, overlooking the actual mission!

The chefs do such a great job at incorporating Asian elements into these beautiful dishes.

Some of my favorites are the Honey walnut shrimp with GIGANTIC prawns and Chilean sea bass with Thai chili dipping sauce.

The desserts exceeded ALL my expectations. I fell in love with their fresh Banana fritters, and really enjoyed trying their take on a Croissant waffle.

I would definitely recommend this unique restaurant, perfect for date night or if you wanted to try something new.

From the mixed drinks to the appetizer to the mains, from beginning to end, a great meal! We came here to celebrate our anniversary on a Sunday night and enjoyed the experience. The chef has done a great job with some of the Asian fusion flavors. The Jumbo Prawn Tandoori had an excellent pepper sauce with a touch of sweetness and full of flavor. The New York Strip steak was well seasoned. To top it off, the service was excellent. We will be back!

One of the best meals we have had in South Orange County recently! Fantastic flavors on everything we ordered. My partner is gluten free, and often has to settle for one or two menu options. Here she could choose from almost the entire menu. She loved the Honey Walnut Shrimp. Mike the GM was very welcoming, and we received fantastic service. Upstairs in downtown San Juan Capistrano with a great balcony (we didn't partake - too cold that night). Would highly recommend. We will be back!

Amazing foods.. I have my son birthday party here. We love all the foods and everyone here very friendly. Everything is great including the location. Parking very close by. We will come back agains for more foods.! Chef John stop by and greet, making sure food is good. Patrick very nice take good care all of us. Making sure we are have a great time. If you looks for great food and good place for your party’s. Rosewood Social have everything you are looking for. Thank you Chef John and Patrick so much. First, the wagyu dumplings were so delicious! The people were very kind and the steak was like a dream. It was so juicy, soft, and super flavorful. The bathrooms were so clean and shiny. Last but not least, the hash browns were to die for the . We had an awesome time. We are definitely coming back.

Wow. What a gem to have in San Juan Capistrano. I had my doubts on seeing such high reviews but everything was great about our experience here and lagree it's top notch. We came for a late Valentine's date and it delivered. Great food (Bang Bang Shrimp, Croissant Waffle, and Steak and Eggs) and beautiful outdoor seating. This venue is also quite large as well so could accommodate large parties.
We'll be coming back soon.
