Sohea is an amazing colorist and I’m so glad I found her. My natural hair color is so deep brown it looks black from a distance, but I have always preferred it ashy blonde. I have straight Asian hair that is very thick, so lightening my hair is a real challenge. Sohea knows how to lift naturally dark Asian hair and gave me my dream ashy blonde. She normally spends at least 5 hours on the bleach/toning process. I’ve been to many colorists that charge a premium and take 3 hours, only for my hair to end up brassy. Sohea is patient and willing to put in the hard work and time to achieve your dream color. She had been working previously at a location in salon village but her new salon on Polk is beautiful and welcoming. For the time, amount is work and the end result, her prices are more than fair. She is very thoughtful and offers snacks and beverages for every bleach/tone session since she knows I will be there for quite a while. This photo is from my 3rd session with her for beach/tone, each about 5-6 months apart. The way she tones the hair makes the tint last very long as well, but you can even come in for shorter toning sessions in between. Honestly this is the best my color has ever looked. Sohea deserves all the credit and I can’t sing her praises enough.

Sohea is an amazing colorist. She has tons of followers on IG and for good reason! But the thing that makes Sohea unique is that she’s very down to earth and she is never too busy for clients new or old. She can always fit me in within a reasonable time and her work is just beautiful. Highly recommend Sohea for Asian hair.

Sohea is amazing! I’ve been going to her for years! She does hair coloring skillfully, and it lasts a long time. She also gives me great tips on how to maintain my color over time so that I’m not having to come back too often to touch up. She also does great hair cuts. I love the snacks she always has available during my long coloring session. I cannot recommend her enough!
