Living in the area, I was looking for a nearby spot for Mexican food, and I’m so happy I found this place just a short walk away! The ordering process was simple, the food was amazing, and the staff were really friendly. My boyfriend had the Mar y Tierra bowl and loved how all the flavors blended together. I tried the vegetarian enchiladas, and they tasted homemade and were delicious. The guacamole and chips were flavorful and really tied the meal together. We’ll definitely be back!

This was my first time coming here. Got a couple of Tijuana style tacos. They were very bland and tasted like they were severely lacking in seasoning. They were also dripping in juice as if the meat was not drained properly before it was put on the corn tortilla. Picking up the taco caused a long stream of juice to come pouring out of the other end. This made them impossible to eat since it caused the tortilla to completely fall apart…first time I’ve had to eat tacos with a fork.

The restaurant requires you to order and pay before being seated, so be prepared to know exactly what you want. You get one small order or chips with a very small side of salsa for free with your meal but for everything else you will have to get up, go back to the front of the restaurant (possibly wait in line behind other people), and order and pay again. Such a weird set up for a sit down restaurant.

The staff seemed very nice but nobody came to fill my water or check on me. I guess the restaurant already got your money and nobody is really working for a tip so why check on your guests smh.

With there being an abundance of Mexican/taco food places in LA I don’t think I’ll be coming back here anytime soon.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere, the food and the service. The place itself is super chill to lounge. We sat ate and hung out for about 4 hours and had a great time. We left cause it was closing. Closes at 8pm. The drinks were very good, and the rib eye tacos and asada quesadillas on corn tortilla were delish. It's definitely worth the stop. Meter parking is available right out front. Cool place to watch the games while enjoying good food and good drinks.

We were surprised by how much we enjoyed this restaurant!

It's in a very touristy area so we were not expecting it to be so friendly and welcoming.

Our server, ⭐Eliza, was wonderful. She was full of positive energy 🌞and we adored her.

The food was delicious 😋 and freshly prepared... The prices were very fair... And the atmosphere was bright and pleasant.

My son and I got the barbecue burrito 🌯and we loved it. It was a delicious blend of sweet and spicy.

Great spot for lunch in DTLA. 🌇

Wonderful experience all around! The food was incredible, drinks were great and the service...absolutely top notch! Joshua, the manager, was costumer focused and made our visit very enjoyable. As visitors we appreciated his recommendations for local stops and things to do. Our server, Mario, made our visit smooth, enjoyable and easy. Also, if you're looking for a local place to try some new Tequilas...you just found it! Greatvnews...they offer flights! We will for sure visit here again during our stay and make it a solid recommendation for anyone visiting LA!

Wow, Sonoritas has seriously leveled up their food game! The rice and beans used to be pretty bland years ago, but whatever seasoning magic the chef is working with now is a total hit—I literally licked the bowl clean. The flavors are on point, and it’s clear the kitchen team is doing their thing.

And then there’s the incredible staff: Omar, who is truly special and absolutely needed. His warmth and genuine energy make the experience unforgettable, and Horacio, with his perfect dry humor, adds just the right spark to every visit. If these two ever leave, I’m leaving too! They are the heart and soul of this place, and they actually make me want to leave the comfort of my house, eat out, and happily pay for the experience.

Please, for the love of all things delicious, keep the bar and those chairs. I stopped coming when they were gone, and the vibe just isn’t the same without them. Oh, and I really miss the shrimp bowls on the menu! Those were my absolute favorite, and I’d love to see them make a comeback.

If you’re in the South Park area, this is THE spot to chill. The food is top-tier, the drinks are epic, and the atmosphere is unmatched. Don’t miss out!

Bartender/server was super kind and service was quick. Tacos were delicious and though pricey they were loaded with guacamole and so filling. Two was plenty, especially with the basket of chips while I waited!
