He is an architect and offers competitive pricing, but don't expect more than text and email exchanges and maybe a couple of forced phone conversations from this guy. If your project is an ADU, he may send you a drawing of one he's already done, with hopes you'll choose that design. I didn't. I had my own taste. He pushed back on just about every idea I had. Constantly reminding me of how small and insignificant my project was in comparison to ALL the other BIG jobs my contractor and architecht were working on. David will send out "his guy” to take measurements, which in my case, WERE WRONG and sadly multiple mistakes were discovered only after construction began. When my contractor called him to tell him that the utility lines weren't as outlined on the plans, he didn't offer assistance. Instead David told him that he'd never stepped foot on the premises. When I told him that two of the three wish list items that I gave him, when I hired him were gone as a result of the wrong measurements on the plans he drafted, his response was, "These things happen." No apology. No offer of assistance. No alternative solutions. I called him. Left voice messages. Texted him to request help and no response.

He's an architect. His pricing is competitive, but you may not get what you pay for and he has no business working with people. At least not the ones with the “small, insignificant” jobs... the ones who need to lean on someone with expertise, the ones who need someone who is available and supportive throughout the duration of their project.
