Sugo is a standout spot in Rolling Hills and the South Bay. The mix of Korean, Italian, and Brazilian flavors makes it one-of-a-kind, and you can tell a lot of care goes into everything. The portions are generous, and the quality of the food really shines.

We started with the PĆ£o de Queijo, Brazilian cheese popovers with lime aioli. They were perfectly crisp on the outside and soft and cheesy on the inside—comfort food done right. The aioli added just the right amount of tangy flavor to make them addictive. The corn masa empanadas were another winner—hot and flaky, with a rich and flavorful filling. The chimichurri sauce on the side was fresh, zesty, and complemented them perfectly.

The hot honey soppressata pizza was one of the highlights. The crust was light and crispy, the soppressata was top-quality, and the balance of sweet and spicy from the hot honey made every bite pop with flavor. The stone pot bibimbap with bulgogi beef was just as impressive. The beef was tender and packed with flavor, and the homemade kimchi added a bold, tangy kick. Served sizzling hot, it had that perfect mix of textures and flavors.

The honey-glazed Szechuan chicken sliders were crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and coated in a perfectly sticky, spicy-sweet glaze. The pickled cabbage added a refreshing crunch, and the portions were more than generous. My daughter got the chicken fettuccine from the kids' menu, and it was creamy, flavorful, and kid-approved.

Overall, the food was fantastic—bold flavors, fresh ingredients, and generous portions. The service was friendly and attentive, making for an all-around great experience. Sugo is definitely a spot I’ll keep coming back to.

I was searching for new places to go to for my birthday dinner and I found this one. It was kind of hard finding the restaurant because Google leads you to the entrance of the ice skating rink, but it’s actually located in the plaza. My husband and I went on a Tuesday evening at 6:45pm, when we walked into the restaurant we were amazed at the entrance. It’s literally a huge hallway/ room for just the entrance. When we walked in the decor was very well styled and felt classy and modern. We were seated in a booth and I really liked it because it felt very private but cozy.

I looked on Yelp to help me decide what to order we had the pan roast ( which was delicious and super flavorful with seafood in every bite!) They gave us 2 of the pao de quejo complimentary, they were light airy and just a little chewy, what made it really special was the sauce, not really sure what it was made of but it had a slight tangy taste kind of like sour cream, a salad (which was really good too, the butter lettuce was soft and it had candied walnuts in it which really took it to the next level ), and lastly we had the sirloin steak which came with Brussels sprouts and fries I ordered it medium. I think out of all the plates that was my least favorite, might’ve been the cut of the meat but it was kind of tough to chew. But the flavors were still really great.

Overall my experience was better then I expected and I definitely want to go again to try their unique pizzas and pastas! I think the venue would be good for groups as well, the restaurant is huge, hopefully they stay open for awhile!

Finally, Great Pizza in Palos Verdes!

Sugo Social is a true gem for pizza lovers in the Palos Verdes area. Their Neapolitan-style pizzas, crafted in an authentic wood-fired oven, are nothing short of exceptional. While the style leans more toward a creative fusion than traditional Neapolitan, the chef has done an outstanding job blending originality with classic techniques.

We tried the truffle pizza with a delightful variety of mushrooms that added depth and texture, as well as the spicy soppressata and honey pizza, which struck the perfect balance of heat and sweetness. Both pizzas were incredible, from the light, flavorful dough to the thoughtful layering of ingredients.

To top it off, we were treated to a complimentary pastry paired with a delicious dipping sauce, which doubled as a fantastic way to enjoy the pizza crusts.

The service was equally impressive—attentive, friendly, and efficient. We can’t wait to return and explore the rest of the menu. If you’re in the area, Sugo Social is a must-visit!

Hidden Gem, for sure! I always try to find seafood pan roast in Southern California. It's one of my favorite meals, especially after trying the pan roast at the Oyster Bar at the Palace Station. After having Sugo's Pan Roast, I don't feel the need to drive to Vegas. The food was absolutely delicious.

It is a fusion restaurant of American, Brazilian, Italian, and Korean. I haven't tried anything Korean yet from the restaurant, but I can't wait to go back and try it.

After placing an order order, I drove to pick it up.
The restaurant is part of the Promenade in Palos Verdes, so there was plenty of parking in the garage. I had to walk a bit and go up the restaurant stairs. I did see on the website that the restaurant provides curb side pick up, haha. I might do that next time if I ever do another to go order.

Picking up my order was quick. I couldn't wait and had a slice of pizza in my car as it was warm and ready. Pizza was not too bad. It was a bit heavy on the sauce, but everything else was delicious. Great amount of cheese and high quality type of cheese as well is used. Pepperoni's were tasty. Crust was good and had a nice crunch. Solid Pizza. Would order the pizza again.

Finally, I made it back home and tried the Brazilian cheese bread. It was complimentary, so I didn't expect much from it. Pão de queijo was amazing! The sauce that came with it had hints of Chives and just perfect. The bread was so nice and fluffy with a hint of cheese as well. I've tried a lot of different pão de queijo, yet I might say this is one of the best ones.

The seafood pan roast. Too good. I've been craving it the next day. Good amount for the price. Had it for 2 meals. It's really delicious. Best pan roast in Southern California. Plenty of shrimp, it felt like Bubba Gump's shrimp boat in the pan roast. They had fresh crab in it as well. Really wonderful. Highly recommend the seafood pan roast to anyone!

Will return, hope the business is successful because it is certainly deliciously.

So so yummy. Came for brunch (that's currently on hold) BEST BRUNCH FOOD EVER!!!! Had the eggs Benedict and it was the best thing I've ever eaten.
Came back for dinner. I have the truffle pasta and my husband the sirloin. Both were very yummy. I could of had a little more noodles with my serving to justify the price a little more but still very good.
New best steak in PV. So yummy.
Dessert was good too. We shared the chocolate brownie. It's more of a personal serving than to shared but also very good.
New favorite restaurant in PV. Highly recommend if you're visiting in town or live round the corner.

Staff was so friendly and food was amazing! We had the seafood pan roast with rice and the lettuce cups. Lychee soju cocktail was sweet and delicious! We didn’t know they closed at 8pm and we stayed until 9:30! We felt so bad after knowing later at home! They never informed us because they’re that kind! (The owner was the one who seated us and she also owns Looma Space kids indoor play area which is a fun place for kiddos!)
