Supera Tours is truly superior. They excelled above and beyond expectations for the tour and of other tours we have utilized. We travel extensively throughout the world and took our family of 14 to Japan on the Kanto-Kensai tour in October. The experience with the home-based travel agent,Sachi, was excellent in our preparation and guidance. Our tour guide, Eriko, was amazing! She was the best tour guide we have ever experienced. She wrangled us fluidly in a calm manner, directed us to the best places as we challenged her with our multiple requests, always a smile on her face, and full of Japanese culture and historical knowledge. This tour was a first class adventure within a reasonable budget. The all-inclusive structure had no hidden costs. We are now looking at booking back-to-back tours with them to Japan and Taiwan. This agency rates a 10/10 for us!

My wife and I recently took Supera's tour of Niigata and Sado Island in Japan. It became clear that a lot of time, research and effort had gone into planning our itinerary, for there was such a variety of sights, experiences and activities to enjoy. Our guide, Hui, was an absolute gem who took care of everything with grace and professionalism. We were nver stressed. We covered many miles in a comfortable bus and never saw anything remotely close to a traffic jam in ten days. The trip took us to some beautiful spots in rural Japan and we stayed in excellent hotels with Japanese style bedding and dining and onsen mineral spring baths. Our activities included feeding a mass of colorful koi fish, visiting a center for the endangered Japanese Ibis, beating huge drums, riding in a "tub boat", viewing an historic coastal village, picking strawberries, strolling along a river bank and, on the last day, a musical and dance performance by two beautiful geishas and musicians. Our April trip was timed for spring flowers and (for someone who grew up next to Kew Gardens in London) I have never seen such amazing displays of tulips and Wisteria. We recommend this trip most highly.

We recently traveled with Supera for the 9/5 West Japan: Hiroshima + art Island. Thanks to Eriko Kimura, our wonderful tour director, so much for her hard work and attention to details in making our trip so memorable. Her energetic smiles, kind and gentle nature, and efficient service made everything run smoothly. We especially appreciated the great variety of sightseeing options and the top-rated hotels in our tours. The variety of food was fantastic! Eriko also took care of our post-tour hotel to hotel luggage transfers and resolved delivery problems above and beyond her duties. We had a wonderful time and will definitely recommend the Supera Tours to our friends and family.

I’ve done 2 Supera tours (Taiwan with Amanda and Vietnam/Cambodia with Amanda, Hai and Sombath) and they’re fantastic. You’re able to see so much of the country in a limited amount of time and they make it so easy. The restaurants that they pick are always very good and they cater to your needs. They don’t take you to any tourist traps where you have to buy products but if you want to do shopping, they’ll make some recommendations. The tour guides are also really interesting people. They know the history of the country very well but they usually also have a personal connection with the country so it’s nice to hear about their experiences too. For example, Amanda has family that were part of the indigenous Taiwanese, Hai was born and raised in Vietnam and Sombath worked for years doing mine clearing in Cambodia. Really cool to hear about their experiences. I’m definitely returning for another tour soon!

Supera Tours provided us with an amazing experience in Japan. Our tour guide Miki was extremely friendly and supportive throughout the entire trip, and even helped find our missing bag we accidentally left in the Tokyo train. Highly recommended

Why One Loves Japan. Supera Tours Hokkaido: 9-day Springtime Nature - Tour (JPN245168SE). Absolutely enjoyable tour with Supera and Supera’s choices of nice hotels and room upgrades, which gave us accesses to premiere lounges, which in turn were great for after-hot-bath or after-dinner wine-and-cheese courses (they also have whiskeys and beers and munchies). Yukata and Samue plus hot-springs baths are available in most hotels selected by Supera; the farewell-night Tokachigawa Onsen hotel offered a (thumbs-up) private hot-springs bath in our room (in addition to the public one in the hotel lower level). While the weather was uncontrollable (we got rained on during one morning visits to Lake Mashu and Mt. IO volcanic site), it cooperated favorably for the remainder of the tour. The inclusions of a Michelin-starred lunch (Biei), a simple-style Wacho-market fish-food lunch (Kushiro), and two Kaiseki-styled (traditional and new) dinners, which perfectly illustrated Japanese gourmet elegance, are Supera’s wonderful (and surprising) touches. The remaining meals throughout the tour were a mix of Western-Japanese food buffets and sushi/sashimi meals; yet, even the evening meal offerings at all buffets were freshly prepared and cooked in front of us and their resulted (Western and Japanese) presentations are so exquisite, having the same quality and looks as served in the (separate) hotel fine restaurants. The (fresh) dairy products - yogurt, and, yes, chocolates - drove me “insane”; (consequently) I bought lots of chocolate varieties to bring home. Your souvenir bag must also contain Sapporo Classic beer, which isn’t available outside of Hokkaido. And if you’re a (nature) photography buff, you can let your creativity-talent roam (and rise above the plethora of point-and-shoot photos on the Internet). All this enjoyment from start to end could not have been possible without our tour guide/manager’s excellence in taking care of all of us. This tour (and our previous Classic Japan tour) confirms why one loves Japan. When our ANA flight at Tokyo Haneda airport to Sapporo New Chitose airport was delayed (merely) 15 minutes, the entire group of ANA airline counter attendants bowed to apologize as they announced the delay. Of course, everyone waves when our taxi/bus leaves their hotels; but before waving, the lady *owner* of the Shiretoko hotel stood by until we all boarded our bus and then bowed to us! Amazing manners...
