Eric (Security) was extremely friendly!
The bartenders were VERY seasoned; made PERFECT long islands (hard to come by suprisingly) bartender Ramen? (Spelling) was awesome.
BEAUTIFUL atmosphere. 😍

Eric from security deserves a raise!!! Very observant; made us feel safe WITHOUT profiting or being on a power-TRIP 😀 genuinely good fellow!

Made a reservation for my daughter's 21st birthday dinner. When we arrived, things were very disorganized. There was no table for us, so we waited. We were then told that the party before us was not leaving on time, so they pushed 2 round tables together which was less than ideal and our group felt disconnected.

We all had drinks and ordered a bunch of food for sharing. No one brought us plates, but luckily I spotted where they were and helped myself. Food was decent - the smash burger had a hair in it and the tacos stated that they came with queso and there was no queso.

Next comes the bill. $425 for 8 of us. Myself and another guest asked to split evenly. The server explained that the $73 gratuity couldn't be split. No big deal. She got charged $136 ama mine was $289... doesn't compute.

We made the best of it, but I would suggest that staff gets trained a bit better, steps off service is important and the overall organization of accepting reservations needs a lot of improvement.

My wife and I are staying at The Porter Hilton in Portland for a belated anniversary getaway. This is the rooftop bar and lounge and it is fantastic. Great views of the city, killer drinks, and good food. We both enjoyed the truffle Parmesan fries and the meatball sliders. The drinks were the real stars however. We had 4 different ones and they were all great!

If you're looking for a view, then this place might do. Food is mediocre at best, reasonable cost but standard hotel quality, nothing to write home about. Drink menu is 4 pages, while the dinner menu is less than 2 pages. They were out of ceviche & brussel sprouts and have pulled all flatbread from the menu. We came here to celebrate my daughter's birthday. Maya the hostess was less than friendly & immediately informed us we didn't have a reservation. After I insisted that we called and confirmed 2 weeks prior, she miraculously found our reservation.

One of my favorite spots to take friends in town! Never too busy and the outside patio is a must for a couples date night or big group. Summer nights are the best, but fire pits outside in the winter adds to the place. Food is okay, but drinks are fantastic and bar staff is always friendly and prompt!

Review of Xport Bar & Lounge 2024/2025 New Year’s Eve Party

We were excited to secure tickets for Xport Bar & Lounge's New Year’s Eve party this year after missing out last year while staying at The Porter Hotel. We’d heard great things about the event, and with tickets selling out again this year, we had high expectations. Unfortunately, the experience fell short.

The venue itself is beautiful and has a lot of potential to host an amazing event, but it felt strangely empty for a “sold-out” party. The energy in the room was lacking, and much of that fell on the DJ. The music selections were uninspired and failed to keep people on the dance floor. There were long stretches where the vibe just didn’t pick up, which was a major letdown for what should have been a high-energy celebration to ring in the new year.

On a positive note, the service was excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive, and definitely tried to make the experience enjoyable. However, a great venue and good service alone aren’t enough to carry an event like this. The DJ plays a huge role in setting the tone for the night, and this year’s performance just didn’t deliver.

Unless the venue makes significant improvements to their entertainment, I wouldn’t recommend this New Year’s Eve party. It’s disappointing because Xport Bar & Lounge has so much potential to create an incredible event, but they really need to step up their game to meet expectations. Hopefully, they take this feedback to heart and come back stronger next year.

This is a fantastic rooftop lounge in downtown Portland. We went there for drinks, dancing, and cool vibes after dinner. The staff were very attentive. The drinks were okay. It's a posh place to hang out – definitely worth checking out if you're visiting Portland. They have a DJ on the weekends.

Besides a beautiful view and amazing atmosphere, this place has the best customer service! I am so grateful to the host and manager for accommodating our parties with individual approach to meet our needs and special requests and making it so special.
