My experience today was EVERYTHING that I needed it to be! I use to frequent this Woody's years AGO, but things started to change. Bad attitudes and inconsistency. I switched to the Inglewood location for more quality service. Today Woody's has Slauson smelling up with BBQ so I decided to pop in and give them a try. I'm SO glad I did! BLAKE was BACK! I was SO happy because my order was taken with a smile and my chicken sandwich HOT was ON POINT!! The chicken was fresh and the sauce was the BOMB! It was like old times! It was neat and clean inside and the wait was not long at all. Two thumbs up Woody's and Blake gets 5 stars for the awesome service!!!! 😁

Customer service is nonexistent in this place. Only reason I gave the 2 stars was because the food was decent. If my mother didn’t love this place I definitely would not patronize them at all.

Shoutout to the rude ass cashier JR. Not only did he NOT acknowledge me when I was standing at the counter, but dabbed it out with a co-worker counting money while myself and 3 other people stood in line patiently waiting to place our orders. All he had to do was look up and say one moment please. That’s it. Perhaps they should invest in sending the people who take the orders to a customer service training. They are the first point on contact for the business. Definitely not the proper way to run a business and fastest way to turn people off from patronizing the business.

JR. Needs some professional training ASAP! Maybe he should shadow Telly the young lady who actually acknowledged me and took my order.

First and last time here. Got the baby back ribs and they were just plain bland tasting. Not to mention the establishment is just plain dirty. Also gave me the shitts a few hours later. Smelled good out side the restaurant unfortunately not reflected in the food

The customer service was trash I waited a whole hour for my food, like I literally saw the ppl that walked in after I did and they received their food before I had gotten mine. I asked for a Mac and cheese 🤮. When I asked about my order the young lady at the front looked at the receipt and then still took another 20 mins to hand me my order. Very unprofessional and very much ghetto I will not be spending my money with them anymore. How do you mess up store bought potato salad just disappointed

My food was Great. The wait was a little longer than I anticipated. It’s a cash only establishment. So make sure you have cash 💵 my chicken dinner was really delicious. Prepared perfectly. Wasn’t dry. The rib tips were good as well. I also ordered the sliced beef sandwich 🥪 with mixed sauce. I was really happy with my purchases.

I ordered Rib Tip Sandwich with Beans about 11:45 on Thursday 3/5/25. This was the worse Rib tips I ever tasted , hard and dried and tasted like rubber. I tried calling to complain and know one answered . I made 5 attempts to call. Woodys on Slauson.

This is probably the best bbq in the area I do come here to eat when ever I’m in the area. If I working in the area I do ask people local here where’s a good bbq spot and they always recommend this location. The chicken sandwich is fire!🔥🔥🔥 you can take the smoke and their sauce they use is beyond good! Their beef hot links is really spicy so be careful with that if you can’t handle spicy food. Look I highly recommend this bbq you have to try it!

The BBQ is good; however, the service is extremely slow. We arrived at 1045 and left at 1435. The older man passing out numbers on the day before Memorial Day needs to retire. I waited 2 hours in line and thirty minutes to get 2 1 lb. Rib tips and 1 small end dinner with double beans, which is a total of 2.5 hours. I saw people leave...additionally, most people were older who were standing in line. Some people have bad feet, a bad back, can't get off of the floor if they have to sit down, and can not stand this long. I would say there is disorganization, and It is imperative to get the business in order to retain customers. Thankful for the young Latino gentleman for finally moving the line this day.
