In th barracks this is the only
WiFi unless you’re on the first floor (I’m on the 3rd). It’s by far the worst WiFi. Worse

The wifi service they provide is horrible. It'd be better to provide none at all in airports than something that doesn't work. It's like, here's some scissors; we lost the handle and the other blade that actually defines what scissors are, but yeah, let's call them scissors. Embarrassing that they also provide this non-service to military

My son left Camp Pendleton and I was calling to tie up some loose ends for him. One of them was his internet so I call and got Amanda. She was awesome answering what questions I had and explaining what I could and could not do. Fantastic Amanda. If all the agents are like Amanda I would have to say they have a great team.

Not so fast wireless speed for the price (as a person who came from the gigabit internet for $70) and my Google device isn't compatible to the boingo.. This was verified by the tech support. If you want to be innovative and make your Google devices connect, definitely Avoid this ISP!!

Service on Camp Pendleton is slow and unreliable for the majority of the time. Id highly recommend getting Cox Internet as I have enjoyed them much more, their only downside is its more expensive. It is however much much faster and more reliable than Boingo internet.

Do not recommend unless it’s your only resort.
1) Extremely over priced. It’s $50+ a month for decent internet. The catch - you can only have 3 devices on the plan, after that it’s $10 more per device.
2) Tech Support and costumer service is marginal and limited. At times as expected WiFi internet is slow or has issues, when I call to ask them to reset it they force you to “trouble shoot” the problem by asking generic info then they ask you power off and on your device (even if you have already). Then regardless of the outcome they say you they can’t do it and they have to “escalate it to a tier 2 help ticket”. This means they will contact you in 24-48hrs.

If you want consistent/reliable internet and a company that has actual tech SUPPORT - DONT USE BOINGO!
