Shopped at Lucky's Union City and asked a person in the Meat Department which turkey is on sale in the add paper I picked up when I entered the store. She showed me and said they were. 19# As the add said. with a 50 dollars purchase. So I circled the store and go 50+ dollars to meet the requirements of the ad and when the cashier rung it up the add was not honored. I paid for it, then noticed the price. They said they would not honor the ad.
I didn't want to buy it if they wouldn't honor the ad and and wanted my money back. I was told to wait because they were busy. I stood and waited as they waited on 5 customers while they avoided eye contact with me and I finally left the store with my stuff that I wanted to return. I will not be shopping at this store again. 😒

"RACIST "
Some years ago I was given for my birthday several gift certificates and one of them for Lucky, it was $100. The gift card was from a cousin that lives in Southern California and confirmed it could be used in all of California.
I have NEVER been treated so bad! The cashier after scanning the card said I need a manager, manager looked at me and said card not valid in "her store" I just said okay no worries, I'll pay. Manager said do you even have money to pay!, this store is not a dollar store!. My kids were with me so I didn't make a scene, manager refused to use my bank card stating only cash. She was beyond rude and racist, I told my boys in Spanish let's just go and she just laughed and said "my store is not for you". I'm not a slob at all, I am well maintained. It has taken my years to post this, because it was painful for my boys to hear all this and for them not to understand racism at a young age.
Taught my boys to NEVER look at skin color, and that they will always be ignorant people.
Manager was white and I know she doesn't represent all white people, since I have encountered all colors and all good people.

I really want to support this grocery store. It is local and they do a pretty job with limited staff. I just wish they would stock the milk in the evenings when people need it. I can see lots behind the empty shelves, just out of reach. Happens every time 🙁

Nice! Great Service! We did an April Fool's Joke and one guy from our group said "thank you" over 20 times while checking out, said "how are you doing" 5 times, and said "sorry" at least 8 times. They never got annoyed. Excellent job with customer service.

All stores are different. This one has wide aisles, The produce section always seems to have fresher product than others. The meat sections are well stocked, so even the discounted items are plentiful.
Sometimes the aisle designators are a little misleading,but I found everything.

Uses to have great customer service here...especially at the self checkout line...I scan all my items and placed them in the bagging area...yet the machine kept saying I removed items....the lady at the front was very kind but didn't get up to help me whatsoever...so I left my items in the bagging area and left the store...very unprofessional of them to not help me when all I wanted to do was pay for my items. Taking this up with corporate.
