It might not look like much from the outside, but once you step inside a place - it’s a whole new world. They have a big cute outdoor space.

You get seated and you go order at the encounter. We got some appetizers - the ceasar salad was really good!
Of course, the pizza were delicious. The bread is very soft. And, we all loved the different ones we took. We had to finish with dessert and it was also excellent.

A simple menu with great food. Prices were very decent.

There is also a bar in the back, in the disco vibe. The whole place has cool decoration and looks very cute. Would definitely recommend for a different gateway and good food.

I would describe De La Nonna as an elevated pizza restaurant. As with most pizza joints, they serve up beer, salad and pizza, but this not your standard fare.

Start off with a craft beer, wine, or a fancy cocktail (or mocktail). Lots of choices to be had.

For starters, we ordered the market salad which had a fantastically light tangerine(?) dressing. The dressing on the ceaser salad was a bit heavy, but it was still tasty.

The eggplant caponata appeared to have been lightly fried and coated in a sweet and savory sauce. Very good.

As for the pizzas, all were insanely good. Each was like a pillowy soft deep dish pizza and they all came with the best crispy edges.

IMO the roasted mushroom pizza was the best — and I'm not a fan of mushrooms.

Prices are a bit higher than you would find at a typical pizza place, but again, these are not your typical pizzas. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere, chill.

The hostess seemed to be having a rough day but things only got better from there. Delicious food, drinks, and super helpful waitstaff. The frozen aperol spritz was a personal fave. The best pizza I’ve had in LA — I recommend everyone getting their own! I need to go back to try out more of the menu. 10/10

De La Good Lord! That pizza is unreal, add the spicy honey and you might need to rethink any other pizza option you've ever had. The place is super cute and quaint. The staff is super friendly. The whole vibe is amazing. Our kiddos loved it too! Oh and the caesar salad... whoa!

My daughter recommended this place so we gave it a try. There was only a handful of people there… it was a Tuesday. We sat in the outdoor area. We ordered two different veggie pizzas and bread sticks (kinda pricey). There wasn’t much to choose from on the menu. The food was more like an appetizer size serving but It was delicious. I have nothing negative to say about the taste of the food or the atmosphere.
However, the parking was insane. We parked directly at the curb next to the entrance of the outdoor eating area. It’s metered parking. We had to add coins every 15 minutes… it only allowed 15 minutes before it capped out 👀. I’ve read others say it was an hour meter, well it wasn’t the day we visited. I set a timer on my phone (a ticket would have ruined my day).
It was a nice restaurant. I experienced it once but I’m sure I won’t come again.

The pizza at the De La Nonna is different but delicious. The pizza is similar to Detroit pizza but different. The space is beautiful and the staff is amazing.

We had a retirement happy hour nearby, and I thought about 10-12 of the attendees were joining us for dinner at De La. But, no, we ended up with about 30 people. I panicked.

Fortunately, Jose and the rest of the staff handled the situation like pros. They set up our group on the patio, and most people didn't even know anything was going on. We had a great time and had good food.

This was on wine Wednesday, and wine bottles were 50 percent off. We ended up with a perfect night with pizza, wine, and great friends.

One of my favorite restaurants in Los Angeles! Detroit style pizza, natural wine & dog friendly patio. Arrived at 5:45pm on a Saturday night (2 people + a pup) with no reservation & was seated right away.
Recommend making a reservation if you come any later.
Ordered the yellowtail crudo, pepperoni pizza with hot honey & the white pizza. Everything was incredible. Ordered a second pepperoni to-go it was so good!
Parking can be tricky in this area
